A few years ago, I met a student named Edgar Lissander. He was taking our 1-year seminary class. He was full of energy, and you could see how much he had to give.
Fast forward 5 years, Edgar is teaching English in a local kindergarten and serving as a speech therapist from Monday to Friday in that same school.
When he invited us to start off our workshops at his school, it made perfect sense. That is why we traveled to Comayagua, a city almost 4 hours from where we live.
Ultimately, we are a family and a community. He wanted our support and God made it happen.
Today I would like to salute Edgar Lissander. His people showed up and participated. It was an honor to serve them yesterday. Showing them God’s love and sharing moments I will not soon forget.
