Day 18 - Exodus 7-9, Psalm 19

We left Exodus 6 with God taking control. The Pharaoh would not listen, and God had to intervene. In the first plague, God turned the Nile red (Genesis 7). The plagues continue (Genesis 8): frogs invade, gnats swarm, and flies torment the land. Pharaoh wavers but refuses to relent. Through it all, God demonstrates His control over creation, while Moses and Aaron remain steadfast in their calling. The plagues intensify with disease, boils, and hailstorms (Genesis 9). Pharaoh’s defiance remains strong. Stubborn. Yet even in judgment, there’s mercy.

Psalm 19:In Psalm 19, David admires how nature shows God’s greatness, from the sky to the sun. He says God’s laws are perfect and refreshing, like a guide to a good life.
